There are times... when...
There are times when it's hard to speak.
When one's voice feels weak.
There are times when the past seems bleak.
When one's thoughts make it seem as if darkness rules.
There are times when the present feels like a burden.
When meaning does not seem to shine through one's day.
There are times when the future seems hopeless.
When the adversities and frustrated longings of this human experience seem endless.
But...
... such times are like storm clouds...
... that will pass.
Allow suffering to move through you.
Do not resist emotional pain.
Let it flow.
The new dawn is bright!
Be patient.
I say this to myself, as much as I say it to you.
