We cannot become strong as long as we run away from our weakness.
Most people are desperately trying to run away from their pain and this is because pain is difficult to handle. Running away may have short-term benefit but is a stupid long-term strategy: it will only make us even weaker, and increase our pain.
We cannot run away from our psychological pain. We carry it around with us. The only way to become free of our pain is to learn to face it and work it through.
Most people try to present themselves as strong, building a facade of pseudo-strength. This is because they carry a lot of weakening pain within them, and they don't know how to handle it.
Many lack the courage to face their pain and handle it.
They don't realize that this facade will prevent them from ever becoming truly strong from deep within.
The stronger the face of strength, the greater the weakness within that covers up our core of true strength.
The choice is yours. The road is long. The path is not easy. But there is no shortcut, there is no alternative to self-honesty and inner work. Having a competent guide along the way is important, but life will provide such a person when you are ready to do your work.
